Visiting Sazanami-en
Several of us went to visit Sazanami-en, an elderly care facility on Oshima Island, on Sunday. There was 10 club members and about 29 resident there for the visit. Everyone had a great visit and we are all looking forward for the next one. Even with a language barrier we had several members who speak both languages and helped those of us who do not. The reward for this visit was a filled heart. I don’t believe any of us walked away without being touched deeply by these people. Sunday was a day to tuck into your memory box and keep for all time. We thank the facility for allowing us the priveldge to interact with these amazing people.
